April Lucht is a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) with a passion for providing comprehensive mental health care. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Baker College of Muskegon and went on to obtain her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Indiana Wesleyan University.
Initially serving the West Michigan area as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), April recognized the growing need for mental health services within her community. Frustrated by the limited time she could devote to patients and the insufficient mental health resources available; she made the pivotal decision to transition into the mental health field.
Currently, April is furthering her expertise by working toward a post-master’s certification in Psychiatric Mental Health at Saginaw State University. In addition to her clinical practice, she serves as a clinical instructor, providing valuable supervision to nursing students during their mental health clinical rotations.
Outside of her professional life, April enjoys spending time outdoors, camping, kayaking, reading and crafting. She treasures moments with her family and her two beloved English Bulldogs.
